Netflix and Chill offerings for April/May
Updated: Apr 11, 2019
It might technically be spring, but the weather is still putting out cozy stay inside vibes. Check out what's available for our Netlix and Chill session the next couple months. If something from February catches your eye let me know! As always, snacks are included. Viewings happen on a large projector screen right in front of my very dreamy and comfy bed. I don't know about you, but it's my idea of heaven.
25% deposit and 48 hours notice are all that's needed to book a dream date at my cloud palace.
OMG this cast is so good and so funny. I can never even choose a favorite character (but I think we can all admit, we'd like to be Rosa's bae). If you're looking for a lighthearted evening, this is the joint.
"Street Meat" Meatball subs
Let's skip Terry's favorite snack: yogurt.
If Blonde Could Kill: A Double Feature of Atomic Blonde and Lucy
Okay can we talk about what bad ass, terrifying babes Charlize Theron in Atomic Blonde and Scar Jo in Lucy are? A night of thrilling plot twists and hot babes.
The Ultraviolet Pizza from Virtuous Pie
Sweet and salty popcorn
Russian Vodka and lemon sorbet
Holy shit! Have you seen all this show? Totally centered around women and indigenous folks, it's basically all about how the British and colonization are the scourge of the earth. And about dangerous enterprising hookers. And about Jason Momoa looking real angry in fur coats (If your Kinsey scale sexuality does not include wanting to get busy with Momoa, I'm sorry for you).
Spit roasted chicken and fried potatoes from Chicken n' Guns
bourbon on the rocks
Were you as obsessed with Greg Araki films in college as I was? His films were like a premonition for today's youth culture: queer, gender bending, sexually open, and out of this world fashion. Anyway he has a whole damn show on Starz now, and it is spectacularly sexy and weird. Be gay; do crime. (Also down to watch Doom Generation and Nowhere).
Lots of tacos from Tierra del Sol
Watermelon sour patches
Blue Dream weed
Scary Good: A double feature of Evil Dead and Get Out
I have to confess, I don't watch many horror movies, because I just spend months unable to sleep, even if the content wasn't very good. I have an active imagination. These two films, though are amazing and do not keep me awake at night, unless it's to think back to how stellar they are. Let's cling to each other in the dark.
